LAMBERT L. GINSBERG      Lambert L.  Ginsberg completed his undergraduate studies at Union College, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1949.  He received his Juris Doctor in 1953 from Harvard Law School.  Mr. Ginsberg is a member of the American, Rensselaer County and Schenectady Bar Associations and the New York State Bar Association (Committee on Wills, Trusts and Estates; Banking, Corporation and Business Law Committees; Committee on Real Estate Financing and Liens and Committee on Problems Affecting Title and Transfer of Real Property).  He is also a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and the Federal Bar Council.  He serves on the Committee on Character and Fitness for the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Third Department.  He is active in the community and has served as a director of the Mohawk-Hudson Community Foundation, of the St. Claire’s Hospital Foundation and of the The Schenectady Legal Aid Society.  He is presently a director of the Rensselaer County Historical Society and the Rensselaer Gateway Development Corporation.  His areas of practice include Banking Law, Commercial Mortgage Lending, Corporate Law, Estate Planning and Administration, Not-for-Profit Corporation Law, Real Estate Law, Business Law, Education Law, and Litigation.

F. REDMOND GRIFFIN       F.  Redmond (Red) Griffin holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Bowling Green University.  In 1960 he received his Juris Doctor degree from Albany Law School.  He served as Assistant Counsel to the Speaker of the New York State Assembly from 1969 to 1970.  He was Counsel to the Troy Housing Authority and a member of the Rensselaer County Sewer Agency.  He was also Special Counsel for the Town of East Greenbush Water and Sewer District. Mr. Griffin was a director of the Rensselaer County Red Cross and was a trustee of the YWCA of Troy-Cohoes, serving, in addition, as Chairman of the YWCA Board for 6 years.  Mr. Griffin’s areas of practice include Real Estate Law, Zoning and Planning, Community Development, Commercial Mortgage Lending, and Lobbying.

MICHAEL E. GINSBERG       Michael E. Ginsberg received his Juris Doctor degree in 1992 from Syracuse University College of Law and received his undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Albany in 1989. Michael was chosen as a member of the Albany Business Review's 40 Under Forty in 2005.  He is the former President of the Rensselaer County Bar Association and also a former member of the House of Delegates of the New York State Bar Association.  He is active in the community, serving as Vice President of Vanderheyden Hall, Inc., and also serving on its Board of Directors.  He is also President and sits on the Board of Directors of the Louis Weinberg Foundation. He was the 2001 recipient of the New York State Bar Association Award of Appreciation and Chairman of the New York State Bar Association Practical Skills Seminar on Forming and Advising Businesses. He has published articles on legal topics such as protecting against corporate liability and the usefulness of employee non-compete agreements. Michael is Chief Litigation Counsel to RPI and his areas of practice include Commercial and Civil Litigation,Education Law, International Trade and Export Control Compliance, Commercial Banking, Corporate and Business Law, Employment Law, Environmental Law, Real Estate Law and Media Law. He is a member of the National Association of College and University Attorneys (NACUA).

Mickki L. Harrington     Mickki L. Harrington graduated from Siena College cum laude in 1987 with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration. She received a Juris Doctor degree in 1990 from Albany Law School. She is a member of the New York State and Rensselaer County Bar Associations and the National Association of College and University Attorneys (NACUA). She presently serves on the Board of Directors of the Sage Home Ownership Program, and the Collar City Pops, Inc. She has also served as the Town Attorney for the Town of Easton, N.Y. Her areas of practice include Business Law, Education Law, Commercial Mortgage Lending, Banking Law, Real Estate Law and Intellectual Property Law.

 RONALD J. SHANLEY      Donald J. Shanley attended Siena College where he received his Undergraduate Degree in 1951. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School in 1954.  Mr. Shanley began his legal career in 1954, specializing in trial practice in personal injury, domestic relations, criminal law and administrative law for the firm of Shanley & Shanley of Troy, New York until 1995 when he became a sole practitioner. Mr. Shanley was also a Government Appeal Agent for Local Board No. 24 of the Selective Service System during the Vietnam War. He is a member of the Rensselaer County and New York State Bar Associations. He is a member of the Harvard Law School Association and the Siena College Alumni Association.  He was formerly an Assistant District Attorney and frequently appointed as Special Prosecutor for Rensselaer County.  Mr. Shanley also served as a Public Defender for Rensselaer County.  He was the Deputy Corporation Counsel for the City of Troy from 1972 until 2004.  He has served as President to the Rensselaer County Bar Association and served as Master Barrister for the Inns of Court, Third Judicial District.  Mr. Shanley possessed the distinguished “A” rating from Martindale Hubble until his partial retirement in 1995.   His areas of practice include litigation, domestic relations law, criminal law and administrative law.

TERENCE E. SHANLEY, OF COUNSEL      Terence E.  Shanley attended the College of the Holy Cross and Loyola University in Rome, Italy where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in 1965. He received a Juris Doctor degree from Columbia University in 1968.  He is a member of the Rensselaer County, Albany County and New York State Bar Associations.  He was with the Legal Aid Society of the City of New York from 1970 to 1972, was Special Counsel, New York State Commissions of Investigation from 1972 to 1974, was Examiner of Accounts, Rensselaer County from 1979 to 1987 and was Law Assistant in Rensselaer County Court from 1990 to 1994.  He has served on the Board of Education of the Enlarged City School District of Troy, New York.  His area of practice is matrimonial and family law.

       Michele Santucci received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Manhattanville College in 1971 and also studied at Catholic University of America in its Masters program.  She has also taken advanced study in Federal Taxation and Accounting at Siena College.  She received her Juris Doctor degree from George Mason University School of Law in 1977.  She is a member of the New York State Bar Association (Business Law and Tax Sections and Committee on Exempt Organizations); District of Columbia, Cohoes, Albany County and Rensselaer County Bar Associations and the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York.  She served as organizer of the New York State  Bar Association Mock Trial Competitions, Rensselaer County for a number of years.  She served as counsel for the City of Cohoes Housing Authority and has been director of numerous local organizations including the Rensselaer County Council for the Arts, Rensselaer County Unit of the American Cancer Society, Mary Warren Free Institute, Actors’ Collaborative, Inc., and The Rensselaer Gateway Development Corporation.  She was President of the Russell Sage College Council and Founder and President of The Heritage Artist Foundation, Inc.  Her areas of practice include Immigration, Corporation and Business Law, Taxation, Contracts, and Financial and Estate Planning.  

 

THOMAS E. LAVERY      Thomas E. Lavery completed his undergraduate studies at the State University of New York at Albany, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1990.  He received a Master of Arts degree from the College of Saint Rose in 1992.  In 1996, he received a Juris Doctor degree from Albany Law School.  He has been a member of the New York State Bar since 1997, and he is a member of the bars of the United States District Court for the Northern and Western Districts of New York.  He is a member of the National Association of College and University Attorneys (NACUA).  His areas of practice include Export Control compliance, Technological Transfer, Intellectual Property, Collaborative Research and Development, International Trade contracts, Commercial and Civil Litigation, Administrative Law and Criminal Law.
